Do you like your words crossed and your pursuits trivial? Then you'll love ASK ME ANOTHER, an entire hour of puzzles, word games and trivia. Join host Ophira Eisenberg and her team of puzzle gurus as they rattle that overflowing brain of yours.

It's NPR's guiltiest - and most puzzling - pleasure. Ask Me Another...coming to KPR Saturday mornings at 11 beginning Saturday, July 4.

NPR's Ask Me Another is a lively hour of puzzles, word games, and trivia played in front of (and with) a live audience. Ask Me Another host, noted comedian and storyteller Ophira Eisenberg, guides listeners with her witty banter aided by the comedic riffs and songs of house musician Jonathan Coulton. Each episode features an interview with a VIP (that's Very Important Puzzlers - noteable actors, comedians, and authors whose identities are revealed via puzzle clues throughout the show), who then takes a turn in the contestant's chair facing trivia games written especially for him or her. Ask Me Another is recorded in front of a live audience at The Bell House in Brooklyn, NY, and on the road in cities across the U.S.

What Listeners Say:

"It's a highly intellectual, culturally aware, funny quiz show.

"My husband and I recently stumbled across the show on our local NPR station and LOVED the format. We love that it's different than the other puzzle/trivia shows on the air right now.

"I listen every Friday. Wish it was on more often."

Join KPR for Ask Me Another 11 a.m. Saturdays.

There are a number of other upcoming programming changes:

On KPR's main signal, starting Friday, July 3, we will also add a rebroadcast of The Retro Cocktail Hour from 10 p.m. to Midnight Friday. European Jazz Stage goes in from 11 p.m. to Midnight Saturday and again from 6-7 a.m. Sunday. Overnight jazz will undergo a slight modification, becoming simply Jazz with David Basse rather than Jazz Overnight (the format, however, remains the same).

On KPR2, Fresh Air with Terry Gross starts 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1. Weekdays, PRI's The World and As It Happens will go away after Tuesday, June 30, replaced by BBC World Service from 4-5 p.m. and by another hour of All Things Considered from 6-7 p.m. Weekends, the midday lineup will be shuffled a bit - Bullseye and Ask Me Another replace Bob Edwards Weekend from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me! replaces Wiretap from 1-2 p.m.; and Right Between the Ears moves from Sunday to 2-3 p.m. Saturday. The only KPR2 change on Sunday is that RBTE vacates the 3-4 p.m. slot, replaced by another hour of BBC World Service.
