Exhibit Highlights Willow Domestic Violence Center's 45 Years of Service

Most people don't like to think about domestic violence. Others are forced to think about it. The Willow Domestic Violence Center in Lawrence has been focused on the issue - and on helping survivors - for the past 45 years.  A new exhibit at the Watkins Museum of History in Lawrence aims to tell the history of Willow and its service to the community.  KPR's J. Schafer spoke with Will Averill, Willow's director of communications, to learn more.

That's Will Averill, director of communications for the Willow Domestic Violence Center. He was speaking with KPR's J. Schafer. The new exhibit - The Willow in Lawrence: a 45 Year History - opens Friday at the Watkins Museum of History and will remain on display through September.
