Adam Larson, who moved to Kansas City from New York City this summer, is one of the most highly acclaimed
young saxophonists in jazz. While still in high school, he was chosen for numerous all star ensembles, and
he's been a busy presence on the New York City scene the last several years.

Kansas Public Radio recently celebrated its eighth annual Big Band Christmas, a holiday concert served up
by the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra and special guest vocalists Kathleen Holeman, Ron Gutierrez and David Basse.
The concert, which took place on Saturday, December 10, 2016, was an evening of holiday tunes at Liberty Hall in downtown Lawrence.
